Los Angeles Emergency Vet Clinic Launches New Internet Website.

The Animal Emergency Centre in Studio City, CA, a Los Angeles emergency vet clinic, has announced the debut of a fully remodeled Internet website, valleypet911.com.

The emergency vet clinic is new to the Studio City and Los Angeles area. According to a release, the clinic focuses fully on after-hours emergency care only. The website has been freshly revamped to reflect the veterinary hospital's focus on pet emergency room care and to offer a host of interactive and online resources for pet owners.

The Animal Emergency Centre of Studio City features an Intensive Care Unit, which is equipped to handle emergency surgeries of all kinds. This pet emergency room features an on-site lab that includes hematology analyzers, blood chemistry and coagulation analyzers, and toxin screening equipment. The emergency vet clinic can perform echocardiology, ultrasonography, and digital radiography on site. Pets in need of endoscopy procedures can also be cared for in the pet emergency room.

The Los Angeles animal hospital has areas for surgery and for post-surgery monitoring. Blood pressure monitors, respiratory ventilators, and pediatric incubators are standard equipment at the veterinary hospital's facilities. Each pet cage is equipped with both heat and oxygen therapy. The facility is both a blood bank and an antivenom bank, which the Animal Emergency Centre owners explain is unusual for a pet hospital, as access to antivenom is not always immediately possible for veterinary hospitals.

The new website is designed to show the services that the Los Angeles pet emergency room offers, as well as to offer additional information about how to care for pets even in non-emergency situations. The site is designed to be a resource for all pet owners, according to veterinarian Dr. Morgan Cavanaugh: "Although we are an emergency only facility, and therefore will generally see pets only at times of emergency or crisis, we want to provide as much information as possible to help our site visitors to prevent those emergencies from happening. We want to help pet owners keep their animals safe and healthy, so that emergency care is a rare occurrence!"

Website visitors who elect to join the site will be given access to the "Pet Living & Wellness Newsletter," which gives pet owners tips about how to care for pets at home and how to prevent common health problems. Additional information provided to website members includes exclusive access to articles about how to increase longevity and good health in animals, how to care for pets as they reach their senior years, and how to know when vet care is required. At the time of the website release, site membership is free of charge to any interested person.
