NSW: The NSW snow report for Wednesday, August 22

SYDNEY, Aug 22 AAP - - The NSW snow report for Wednesday, August 22:

THREDBO: An overnight dusting of snow has made the upper slopes soft with a dry base.

A cloudy morning with light winds. Expected top temperature of four degrees. All lifts
are expected to open. Roads are open to Thredbo. Average snow depth is 154cm.

PERISHER: 10cm of fresh snow overnight has made for a very good to excellent cover
across the resort. Current temperature is - 4 degrees. Average snow depth is 154cm with
50 lifts operating. Roads are open.

SELWYN: A dusting of snow hit the mountain last night. Mostly cloudy today with moderate
winds. Cover is firm and fast and will soften throughout the day. Up to nine lifts operating.

Average snow depth of 35cm. Roads are open.

CHARLOTTE PASS: 1.5cm of new snow. With temperatures reaching a low of -5.5c and some
fresh snow, the cover is in excellent condition. Five lifts operating. Average snow depth
of 164cm. Road is currently closed.
