Vic: Semi trailer stolen

MELBOURNE, Dec 14 AAP - A semi-trailer believed to be full of sporting goods was stolen
from a Melbourne transport yard late last night.

The "Agnosta Transport" rig, worth about $45,000, was taken from the Thornbury yard
some time before 11.30pm, when a driver returning to the yard noticed the driveway gate
chain was cut.

Police said the blue RoadBoss prime mover, registered NBV895, was hitched to a trailer
carrying a rust coloured shipping container.

The value of sporting goods believed to be inside the container was yet to be determined,
police said.
